The rights to photos on this website are available for purchase. Image rights are sold for use in books, magazines, advertisements, information kiosks, museum displays, billboards, television commercials and other purposes.
Our rates are very reasonable. The price is based on how the photo(s) will be used, the number of photos purchased, the format in which the photos are requested and other factors. Becker Doyle and Associates will provide a standard licensing agreement and pricing.
Photograph rights are purchased under two types of licensing agreements.
Royalty-free For a royalty-free image, you pay a single licensing fee. You may use the image multiple times, in multiple projects indefinitely. Typical usages of a royalty-free image include promotional/advertising material, packaging, editorial layouts, web and online design, multimedia presentation, video or film productions or broadcast.
Rights-managed Rights-managed images offer greater exclusivity to purchasers due to their restricted, limited-time usage agreements. Pricing of rights-managed images is calculated per image use, based on a number of factors such as whether usage is advertising or editorial, output media (such as brochure, magazine, online), region of use, image size and placement, and circulation.
In some cases we will make a special accommodation for a photo used for non-profit, scientific or educational purposes.
